New Plane, More Dogs...

I’d quickly realized that to facilitate the rescuing of more dogs, the Cessna Aerobat was lacking in capacity as well as range, and a larger plane would be necessary. This was the first mission in my new plane, a Piper Saratoga. I’d named the dog I adopted from my first mission Piper to keep me focused on upgrading, and it worked. I flew the third of three legs (PA-NY), the dogs having originated in NC. I’d not have been able to fit ELEVEN dogs in the aerobat!
